The Neighbourhood Plan Vision

Hartlepool Headland is a special historic place with a strong sense of identity and character. Our vision is to provide an even better, healthful and prosperous environment and community in which to live, work and visit. 

We will do this by:

• Establishing a ‘heart’ to our community, promoting the development of the local economy by encouraging business and employment opportunities.
• Supporting measures to improve public transport, highway safety and to improve accessibility for all.
• Conserving and enhancing the natural and built environment, including the wealth of heritage assets.
• Encouraging sympathetic development to provide sufficient housing to meet community needs.

Promoting a sense of community and support health and wellbeing initiatives.
